school trip

When we came to school we had to do dance practice and we finished we had to go on the bus and we just sing a song and play hand games then we made it to the concert we was watching the actors it was very fun. Then we had to go back to school and we had to wait on the bus and we was looking around we saw an cool man dancing by the road he was very funny and cool he was wearing pink and black.

Here is my Term 3 animation about finding a new planet for us to live on because earth has become polluted.

First of all we went on the bus we just waited then we arrived to stardome miss Buchanan went to check in for the class to go into stardome. Next we walked into stardome we looked a round the stuff we saw lego stuff that was a car that you need to go in space so you don’t need to walk. After that we came in the room that has a gold and blue telescope it was big and we watched the moon go around earth is a small planet. Later on we went into the dome it was big and colourful it had the rainbow colours then we lied back on nice chairs look up at the dome it like a semicircle but it’s bigger In the end we went on the bus we came back to school and we had lunch.

Today we walked to the pond we made huts with Moui we made a big one we can fit 4 boys in it look like a real house it had a roof no floor it had  mud and leaves and sticks it was yuck and muddy i wish it had to change a house that had a floor and windows and a kitchens that you can make food in the hut.

Yesterday miss timmi and i read a book called sailing in the pacific. It was about Kupe he is a maori man in the legend and he sailed to find land in his waka and he found Aotearoa land of the long white clouds that's what his wife called it.

Miss Timmi and I made a waka out of maths wooden blocks and we made a sail out brown colour paper.

What happened? Tell it in the order it happened.	First of all we went to the hall and we watched the school do kapa haka and we went to our class my class was room7 and we made food and stars, lanterns  and cool stuff then we got a cookie that had blue Icing it was yum and sweet.
	Next we had morning tea and we played  then we came back to class then we made corn fritters, we eat it and it was yum then we played G-switch on the Imacs and it was fun.
	After that we played abit then it was lunch time and i just played kicks and touch rugby then it was class time then we ran back to class then we sit down and talked about what Matariki was about and we played on the Imac’s and we played a game.
	We walk to the hall and did the duffy certificate and I got one and i picked a book I picked a Chapter book it was like a Dungeon book it had cool picture.
	In the end went to class and we got ready to go home and we looked what the class made it was a fun day

Dear Mr Somerville

Thank you for looking after us during camp and bringing us amazing team leader I have fun at camp it was my first ever camp I am happy that I got to stay 2 nights And go to bomb in the bombing pool. At camp it was fun because everybody had fun playing in the cold and playing at kayaking. I am playing with my friends like leonardy.

                     

I was helping Miss Takere take some food to the big tent and I got to load up the cooler with Patties and sausages.


My favourite was going  kayaking with my friend Lennox and it was my favourite because we got to get wet and when I went by myself my friend Lennox fell out of his kayak It was funny because he looked shocked because of the cold water.

After we  finished camp you told team 4 that the Generals were the winners and we got to have chocolate but you called it a healthy snack and that was funny. Thank you Mr Somerville for letting me go on camp.

Year 5 and 6 camp

Wednesday was going to be my first camp and I was so excited. First  went to put our bags in class and then we did our first activity it  was with my group my group was called The Generals and my friend Lennox was in the same group as me. Our group had to go to the library, to do our item practise for the concert on Thursday night. After  we finished we had a meeting and we talked to all the teachers about our timetable for camp. We went to our next activity it was free time, I was playing with my friend Damien who wasn't on camp but he was still at school, we were playing with pokemon cards and I was winning all the cards. My auntie Shania came to bring my mattress at 3pm so that I could be comfortable at night in my tent with my tent buddy Lennox. On Thursday we went kayaking at Pt England Beach it was a  bit windy because it was spitting with  rain. My favourite part was going to the pools on Friday, I liked the bombing pool the best  when we went home we had McDonald's Last night we all had a talk about camp  and I said thank you to my nana I learnt it was fun to sleep in in a tent with my friend Lennox and other people having fun too. My next door neighbours in the tents were Troy and Paschal. I can't wait until next year.
