sailing the pacific
Yesterday miss timmi and i read a book called sailing in the pacific. It was about Kupe he is a maori man in the legend and he sailed to find land in his waka and he found Aotearoa land of the long white clouds that's what his wife called it.
Miss Timmi and I made a waka out of maths wooden blocks and we made a sail out brown colour paper.
Hi Zane, thank you for blogging about this, I was so proud of how well you read even though it was a bit long but you did it and you came up with a great idea to recreate Kupes waka out of blocks I will take credit for cutting out the coloured paper and making the sail but you did an awesome job! Well done you!
