Matariki

On friday 26 June Pt england school celebrated Matariki. We had a whole school assembly and celebrated it by singing a Matariki song and kapa haka group performance.

After the assembly, we had to go to our home class to find out which class we were in for our matariki activity. The Matariki activities were cooking, sports, arts and crafts and movie making, I was in cooking with Mrs Tele’a.

We cooked the muffins and the sausages the girl cooked the muffin and me and john made the sausages then we ate it and enjoyed it.
