What I Know About The Narrative

i wish the holiday was longer

I wish the holiday was longer because we need a break from school. One term is like 9 or 10 weeks and it is long for us kids and we need a break in between to relax our brains. Some things we can do to relax is, play games and help out for the chores and play outside.


In the holiday you can go and visit different places. For example I went to visit my Koro in Whangarei to spend time there it is a lot more different than Auckland I learn heaps of new things. In whangarei there this place where there's penny divers and they jump off the purge and they get the money with their mouths when someone drops money in the water its a good learning experience to see different places.


Time with the family is important because you get spend longer time over the two weeks You get more time to do things together instead of just weekends. The weekends have two days and the holidays you have two weeks. In the school holidays we can eat a lot but in the weekend you can only eat some foods like little snacks.


I think that having a school holiday break is very important for all these reasons but mainly I think it’s important for school to give ourselves some time to refresh and have a break from learning in the classroom and learn some new things outside of school grounds.
